Privation and Human Reality

Whilst this episode doesn’t provide an answer to the problem of evil (a theodicy) it offers an approach to begin answering some important questions: did God set up a bad system? Is humanity responsible for the fall or was there a flaw in the design? We’ll explore St Augustine’s theory of privation to address the question of God’s goodness and the goodness of creation in the midst of these.
